Lyme prevention and early Lyme are easily taken care of with colloidal silver. However chronic lime and late stage Lyme has the disadvantage that the spirochetes burrow into areas that EIS ( real colloidal silver ) cannot reach, such as the brain, nerve ganglia, lymph system, and cartilage. For this you need to use complementary protocols as well. The best I have encountered is the Bob Beck protocol. It uses 4 elements to get to them in all areas:

1. EIS ( colloidal silver )
2. Ozonated water (gets to the brain, nerve ganglia and cartilage.
3. blood electrification ( or Zapping )
4. Magnetic Pulsing (very important for the lymph )

Welcome aboard, Rainie! I'm glad you found us.

We have a number of members with first hand experience fighting Lyme, and CS is an essential component of most of their efforts.

Can anyone recommend

a) the best brand/type to buy
B) how much per day to take
c) and for how long.

Once some otherse chime in, you should get several recommendations for generators to buy, plus pointers to instructions for making a unit of your own if you're just a little bit handy.

The kind of CS we recommend making is usually clear and colorless, somewhere in the range of 5 to 15 parts per million concentration, mostly ionic silver with maybe a 10 to 30 percent colloidal component. It's made using only distilled water and silver metal. If you shine a laser pointer through it in a dim room, you'll see a faint beam reflected from the very small silver particles. It varies from one person's tongue to the next, but most people report a metallic taste.

With that kind of silver product, home-made for pennies per quart, you can afford to take as much as you need to help you get better. You would drown in the water it contains before you could get enough silver to cause any kind of side effects.

The one exception to that is a Herxheimer reaction, which is common to any anti-microbial treatment that causes significant death of pathogens. The 'bugs' die in large numbers, dumping their cell contents into your system all at once and causing an exacerbation of symptoms, often described as flu-like. In extreme cases, a herx can be so intense as to cause someone to go into shock. This was what they discovered it in the early 20th century when effective treatments for syphilis were first being tested. Patients started dieing on them because they couldn't handle the suden die-off. Soon they learned what we now know:

Dose for effect.

Start small, ramp up, adjust the dose to keep the herx tolerable, increase over time as symptoms subside, continue 'til you're healed.

You might take a teaspoon-full for the first time, just to make sure you're not so sick as to have a sudden severe Herx, or one of the rare folks who are actually allergic to silver. Swish it in your mouth for a few minutes if you can. Much of the silver will absorb directly into the bloodstream via the membranes of the mouth.

If that small taste of it doesn't cause any problems after an hour or two, then start experimenting with more. Small frequent doses will be more effective than fewer large ones, depending on what you can work into your schedule. A few ounces per day may be reachable within a couple of days, unless you react with a Herx. Folks have worked up to cups and pints-full per day. You'll have to gauge it by how you feel.

I've read that properly made CS is VERY effective at treating Lyme and
poorly made CS is useless. I also want to be sure to take enough to
be effective, but I want to avoid any side effects.

You may not be able to avoid the Herx, if you're doing anything effective. Other than that, what I've described so far is a relatively conservative and safe approach. Silver made the way we've learned to do it here *is* effective, if our members' experience is at all typical.

That said, it's still experimental self-treatment. You're entirely responsible for making sure the advice you're following is safe, including mine. Do as much research as you can and consult the members of your medical support team if you have any doubts. They may not know anything about silver, and/or may try to discourage you from taking it. Ultimately, you'll have to make your own decision. Do so on the basis of the best information you can gather and your own good judgement.

Lastly, there are a number of other treatment modalities for Lyme that I'm sure some of our members will recommend. You should look into them carefully and consider adding them to your regimen.

We'll be here to answer your questions. Just let us know what you need.

Thanks for
your advice.

You're most welcome... for the help, and to our group!

Be well!
