Apologies if this comes through more than once, I accidentally sent
it from the wrong email address, and it came back, then I tried to
send again, but don't know if it went through or not. Third time a
charm................maybe.
I suffered a sudden acute posterior vitreous detachment in my left
eye this morning. The ophthalmologist said and what I have read
online so far says there is no treatment, but I thought I'd ask if
anyone here has any experince with this condition, and if any
supplements helped at all. I'm lucky there is no retinal tear or
holes or any sign of imminent retinal detachment, but I now have a
huge floater and what looks to me like a single hair across my vision
which are going to be a real pain. I've read that over time the brain
sometimes learns to "edit out" the floaters, or also that gravity
pulls them down to the bottom of the eye after 6 months to a year.
thanks for any help or suggestions as to what has helped others,
sol
