My understanding is:
A chi kung discipline with perhaps martial art overtones.
A analogy would be Tai Chi which in my opinion, when taught as such,
perhaps the deadliest of unarmed martial arts (includes Dim Mak, the
infamous "death touch").
In the modern world, tai chi is taught as a non aerobic chi developing
exercise.
