Toenail fungus is a tough one as everyone's situation is different. What ever you use on the toe has to have access to the nail bed for it to work. I have seen reports of CS working on this, it can be used with essential oils such as Tea Tree, rosemary and geranium. Also there have been reports of using a 2% solution of Iodine, which may be helpful...all applied directly to the nail and surrounding areas. The Iodine, will turn the nail a yellowish color (more than it may be already), but this is normal and will dissipate over time as usage is stopped. You also have to use an antifungal foot powder in your shoes, simply because there are 'bugs' in there as well...
Mixing some or all of the above into a 'potion' would be another approach, you will have to test it to see what works for you. From my experience, there is no 'one size fits all' approach. He tried a number of treatments, but what worked for him was tea tree oil. I'm not exactly sure how he applied it though. This had never occurred to me. For external use it should be okay to use standard pool shock as a cheap treatment. I have no personal experience of this, but for reference it was 400mg capsules (capsules not required in this instance of course). Paul B >>Arthur -- we have a misunderstanding here.
