Hi Jo,

Most CS is ionic. Certainly electrogenerated colloid silver is
mostly ionic.
Ionic means: an atom or molecule or particle which has lost or
gained one or more electrons.
The silver particles in electrogenerated CS are generally Ag+
positive ions (cations).
