Interesting -- I have had little success using 3%, since it almost always turns 
misty.  I wonder what exactly the other 97% consists of...

for some reason I have had two batches of CS go yellow on me.  Both batches 
have had to brew for some six hours for half a litre and then still been only 
about 12ppm (which drops to 8) so I had to run them on for another hour or so.  
Both have gone slightly yellow so I added two drops of H202 - 35%.  Well, it 
has gone clear after a few minutes and reads at 10ppm which is what I want.  
This is the first success I have had doing this but I have to say that this 
time I did use the 35% whereas the other times I had used store bought 3%.  dee
