It's like the statistician who was deathly afraid of flying because he was afraid the plane would be blown up by a terrorist. When he had to go on a plane finally, he was searched, and they discovered that he had TWO bombs in his luggage. They asked why?!?!? He said that he had worked out the probability of a bomb being on any particular flight, and it was like 100,000 to 1, so then he worked out the probability of there being two bombs on the same plane, and it was 100,000 x 100,000, or 10,000,000,000 to 1, so just to be safe, he brought two of his own bombs...
