Tony, A few quick questions;
Do i begin the stroke at the head?
When i do it from a distance on the adults do i just visualize the same motions?
Thank you so much.

Hi Tina,

If he were my child I would go back to the OT and take their advice.
Maybe get a referal from the OT ( if you do not have full confidence ) to
cranio person who specialises in neonates and babies . It should be just
one session to make it all right and then maybe a follow up to check if
it is "holding". Remember too to respect the childs parents decisions.

Another way whch I use often is called "unruffling" This can be done from
a distance as a form of prayer or it can be done in real.

*   You hold the child in the standard burping position on your chest with
one hand supporting under the childs feet.
*   Then slowly, carefully stroke down and about an inch or two OFF the body.
Lift hand a bit on the quicker, return stroke. Repeat the stroking for a
    while.
*   Anyway, see yourself smiling about the outcome.

I would also unruffle the parents each and together,  and the medics too.
Sound like everyone may be in a panic.

OK,
Tony
