Well, Dok, Patty, Donna, et al, I eventually would like us to have the chance to break out the OT discussions into multiple areas. It's always been part of my plan, if ever I actually get it done, to do something like an area for community chit-chat (friendly, low stress stuff), controversial topics (politics, religion, esoterica), and one specific to health topics. Then people would have more fine grained control over what OT subjects they are exposed to.
Considering that I don't preview messages before they go out, and only "moderate" the group by dealing with things after the fact, we do pretty well. It will never be perfect. We continue to have a little "leakage" back and forth with the OT list. We've been absorbing a few new personalities (should I say "characters?" <grin>) the last few weeks, and that always involves some give-and-take and a little disturbance to the atmosphere of the place until the new folks find their place and people get to know them. As always, I depend on the members to be the first line of defense against things going too far awry. I am not often disappointed in that.
