I haven't found a really good method to make a home-made one.. However,
the one recommended as the most safe is "Baby Blue Lizard", which we use
until such a time I can come up with a recipe. EWG lists it as the
best. It has to be effective, we've tried so much stuff that was
totally natural, but was totally ineffective. Blue Lizard has some
ingedients I do not like, but it is amazingly effective, so we
compromise.. I don't wear sunscreen personally, but the kids do if they
are out for a long time on some days.

Hi All,
I'm looking to create a natural sunscreen cream for my kids on those
days that they're out in the sun all day. I do know how important it
is for them to get some sun in order to keep their Vit D stores up:
however, with TBall and beaches etc., I'd like to get them protected
with something that's not full of gunk.
Anybody?
Thanks in advance...
Lisa
