Couple of questions for the chemistry inclined:
(1) Is it possible or conceivable for either (a) ion collisions or (b) Zeta
potential to have a miniscule affect on solution water temperature? Does
constant movement generate any heat with this in chemistry?
(2) If so, would that water temperature and effect be less apparent in colder
solutions, and more apparent in warmer solutions?
Appropriate instrumentation may be necessary to pick this up of course, but I
just wondered if it were a factor in the chemistry of things.
