Depends on who you're asking, and if you're looking for ideas on whether it's
any good, or why it turned yellow?
If you were to ask me, this would be my summation:
Although the particles may be a little larger in size or denser in quantity
than a *particular* individual may desire, as long as that solution colour is
perfectly transparent with a 'sheen' or 'magnification' appearance to the
solution, and there's no cloudiness or 'mud' laying in the bottom of the
storage vessel over time, there's nothing wrong with it as far as I'm
concerned. You may remember not so many years ago yellow was the 'IN THING'
for EIS/CS so don't be overly concerned about it. Sometimes I get a yellow
batch, most times I don't {length of brewing time will ensure me a yellow
solution, which is what I aim for in treating some issues} but there's still
nothing wrong with it.
As for the 'why', there could be a thousand reasons for that, I don't concern
myself anymore about it, it's the nature of the beast, as long as the solution
appearance is as I stated above I'm perfectly content, and I know it's still
bio-available because those particles have not exceeded a size whereby they are
no longer bio-available. Literature states 1 micron is the limit and I know
I'm WELL below that stipulation {up to yellow colour anyway}. Just keep
reminding yourself that home production of this stuff is not a science, it's an
art, and the appearance and effectiveness of the end product will be dependant
on *who* is painting that picture, *which* tools are being used and what
*beauty* an individual can see in the finished painting. I'm well satisfied
with mine <g>.
