Hi Ya'All; Its that time again. Please if I make you angry enough to spit fire just stay with me to the end and print this out.
Thankns Douglas your you post it is a good introduction. PLEASE do not buy a bucnh of questionable test instruments. You can make your own. First make the one centimeter probe. (Sam naval brass has 1%tin and free machning brass, clock brass, and eyelet brass has about 1 % lead.) Welding rod, roll stock sheet or rod is copper and zinc. Source; The American Machinist Handbook. Buy a .032" x 1/2" brass strip from the hobby center at your local hardware store.. Cut two pieces 1-1/2" long and reduce the width from 1/2" to .394" Solder a lead (18") on one end of each piece. Get a piece of plexiglass or lexan that is 1/2"square x 4 to 6" long, and reduce one end to .394" for about a one inch length. Epoxy the two electrodes on to the plastic so that one centimeter is in free air. Anchor the wires to the body of the probe. Paint the back side and edges of the electrodes with fingernail polish. Put bannana plugs on the free ends of the wire and plug it into the $18.00 DMM from Jameco. Use the 2000x ohm scale. Put the tips into your CS and swish the tips back and forth rapidly to avoid a field build up. Record the data. Tip #2 if you want a 1000 ohm 1% resistor to put in one of the lines to your brew cell. (the voltage across it is the same as the current in the cell). send me a sase and I will send you one for the exhorbant fee of $0.00.(free). Part #2 will deal with the increase in ppm and the reduction in Tyndal with time. It is real but no one on this list of nebies and gurus have ever mentioned. it. How's come???????? I have CS with LARGE particles 18 to 85 nanometers that is absolutly colorless.!!!!!! So much for color and particle size. "Ole Bob" P.S.I must have taken some nasty pills today. -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
