                        Technically, there is no difference between an
atomizer and a nebulizer;  both are venturi-based devices designed to
fragment liquids into microscopic particles which impinge into a gas stream
(usually air or O2).  Nebulizers, as a rule, are devices used in health
services for adjunctive pulmonary protocols.  Atomizers are, as a rule,
devices used in many commercial practices, for varied applications.....among
them are applications that can include nasal passage/pulmonary medical
protocols.
                    For pulmonary researches/applications it is, generally,
accepted that the smaller the fluid particles----the more beneficial the
result.
