Also -- if you're concerned about it, glass funnels are available. I also prefer to store my CS/EIS in amber and/or cobalt colored glass containers. I happened to find a cobalt glass funnel at a flea market -- and that's what I use. The metals and the plastics might be fine -- but I'm more comfortable with glass! :-) MA

This assumes you have made it with 0.999 or better pure silver electrodes, steam distilled water and no other additives. But if you insist, either funnel material is fine.
