Also -- if you're concerned about it, glass funnels are available.  I also 
prefer to store my CS/EIS in amber and/or cobalt colored glass containers.  I 
happened to find a cobalt glass funnel at a flea market -- and that's what I 
use.  The metals and the plastics might be fine -- but I'm more comfortable 
with 
glass!  :-)

You can just leave your CS in your quart jar.  No need for special amber
bottles.  This assumes you have made it with 0.999 or better pure silver
electrodes, steam distilled water and no other additives.  But if you
insist, either funnel material is fine.  Just first give them a rinse with
distilled water.
