This (DE) doesn't work for my dog unfortunately PT.  I also gave him one 
teaspoon of clay once and he couldn't go!  This was before all this trouble and 
I couldn't let this happen this time because of the furunculosis being so 
painful--hence the question.  I will maybe try the tip of the knife thing mixed 
with water and put on his food.  Thanks for the reply.  dee
