If you join the Yahoo group 'microelectricity-germkiller' they have complete and easy instructions on how to make and use your own Godzilla device. I have made several of these. Takes about $6 of materials, and 5 minutes of time. When my wife told me that her gums had started to bleed whenever she brushed her teeth, I told her to 'zap' them with our Godzilla. She spent one 15 minute session running the meager 6V through her jaw applied externally only. The next day she had greatly reduced bleeding. After that she has had none.
Will it kill off the infection on a tooth? I am absolutely sure of it. This is a great device for spot infections in particular.
