For directly killing, probably so. But many, if not most parasites require
bacteria for digestion, so it seems that they die of starvation when given CS.
This seems to be the basis for killing of mites and fleas.

In an attempt to kill the honeybee mites that require bacteria for digestion,
we tested feeding CS to a honeybee hive. Unfortunately the bees required
bacteria for digestion as well, and we ended up starving almost the whole hive
before they could get the CS out of the system. :<
