Another interesting factoid about coke, in fact all dark sodas; colas, root beer, etc.: They are carbonated with the aid of phosphates (remember the old phosphates people drank at the soda fountain in the pharmacy?). Phosphorous leaches magnesium from the body, and without magnesium you can't absorb calcium. The result is millions of cases of tooth decay, arthritis, osteoporosis, heart attack (magnesium is essential to heart action), and so on. Coke is poison.
