CS>Need your input friend in the hospial

My niece has a boyfriend who ended up in the hospital last night in I.C.U in horrific pain.  Doc's are saying it is his pancreas...his blood pressure is real low...has bile in his intestine's...and his potassium levels are real high.  Any thoughts on all this as to what is going on....this just came on out of the blue. He is early 30's. Thanks in advance, Debbie
