Puppies and _dogs_ (http://www.gopetsamerica.com/dog-health/hypoglycemia.aspx#) can develop severe hypoglycemia after consuming sugar-free gum sweetened with the sugar-alcohol xylitol. In humans I have a bunch of coyotes on the tree farm that come right to our house. I was ready to try to feed them a xylitol sandwich when one of the coyotes brought 3 field mice and left them on the road where I do my 30 minute walk most every day so I was sure to see them. The coyotes killed all 3 of our cats and 3 dogs disappeared. We also have a cougar that makes his rounds so the coyotes may not be all to blame. Field mice are thick on our tree farm after the cats disappeared so I decided to let the coyotes clean up the mice. I just bought another Omron ultra-sonic nebulizer. My Medisana quit and the company no longer supports them. I tried my EIS/MSM/Xylitol mix in it and that clogged the nebulizer within two days. Lucky I still had some CLR left that opened it up again. Guess I will stick with plain EIS as the Omron goes several weeks without clogging with EIS. Brickey
