Hi Lin,
I've only read that some hospitals are now wiping it on handles,
counters and hardware to disinfect MRSA.
I routinely put a bit in my dog's water, which keeps the water free
of germs as it sits for the day.
CS is very gentle, really. I have Lyme disease which can bring on dry
eye and uveitis so I put it in my eyes and mist it up my sinuses
whenever I have an infection. (remember: they put something similar in
new-borns' eyes).
If I had a cat, and if the cat wouldn't drink some added to its water,
I'd probably mix some with a little water drained off a can of tuna
(packed in water, not oil) and saturate the fur on its paws. Cats are
obsessive about keeping their paws clean and we used to put butter on
our cat's paws when having to travel in the car, a great distraction.
Knowing what I know now, I'd put virgin coconut oil on instead. (my
Maltese LOVES it) Actually, VCO has anti-fungal, antibacterial
properties which would be another good thing to try.
Be well,
Léna

Just received email that a local woman with a feline shelter has
agreed to take in a cat with MRSA. I had just given her a gallon of
EIS this past week to use at the shelter, but she is pretty hesitant
about it.
Can anyone here offer suggestions on how you would use it for a cat or
even if you have testimonials on how it's work for humans, please send
that so I can offer it to her. Thank you, Lin
