I have had my Jupiter for over 10 years, also & It makes Alkaline water to drink Yum, yum, and the waste water is caught in a jug that is Acid water(Grate for Plants) No water is wasted. It also has a filter and it is changed about every 9,000 gallons. (once a year ) The Alkaline water we drink, is great tasting and it Alkalizes Your body. Good for keeping you healthy.
