Hi Dianne,
I'm no doc, only Lyme diseased lab-rat, but somewhere I read that plaque in arteries is the body's way of making a patch on weak spots in arteries and veins. It was mentioned that rather than the current focus on cholesterol which is the material in the plaque 'patches', people should take lots of vitamin C, as that helps heal the weak spots. From that, I'd tend to think that aneurisms might also be helped, as it was a weakness in the beginning that created the ballooning of that particular vessel. This is just speculation, but as I'm doing 15 g of sea salt and vitamin C a day to kill Lyme (it works) I'm hopeful that it may also ward off vascular issues. My dad had an aortic aneurism, so, like you, I wonder.

Be well,
Léna

I have a family member (64yr) that has been diagnosed with a heart aneurism. It is fairly large but the VA won't do anything until it gets larger. I wanted to ask if anyone is familiar with this problem and what natural approaches might help this condition. I don't know what they can do for this condition. My cousin died of an aneurism of the spleen when he was 42. I don't know if this runs in families.
