CS>OT - solar energy

[PTF]

Hi,
I live in Florida and am interested in possibly purchasing a small solar system 
for charging rechargeable batteries.  The prices go from around $20. to over 
$500.  This is not my area of expertise so if anyone can assist I would 
appreciate a recommendation or suggestions as to what to look for and/or what 
to avoid.
