That's because mice have particularly sensitive respiratory systems and are much more reactive (in a negative way) to irritants. So if it's safe for mice, one could extrapolate that it's safe for humans and other animals too. Of course, users of CS have known for a long time how safe and effective CS is. And by the way, I would never use a "Methylated Caffeine-Silver Complex." I don't know what purpose the caffeine serves, and silver COMPOUNDS are always problematic. Homemade Electrically Isolated Silver (EIS)-which, as a combination of colloidal and ionic particles, is more commonly known as Colloidal Silver (CS)-is totally sufficient. The researchers are probably fiddling with the recipe because plain old CS can't be patented.
