Even though normally one cannot extrapolate how mice respond to how humans
or animals would respond, in this instance we can make an educated guess.
That's because mice have particularly sensitive respiratory systems and are
much more reactive (in a negative way) to irritants. So if it's safe for
mice, one could extrapolate that it's safe for humans and other animals too.
Of course, users of CS have known for a long time how safe and effective CS
is. 

 

And by the way, I would never use a "Methylated Caffeine-Silver Complex." I
don't know what purpose the caffeine serves, and silver COMPOUNDS are always
problematic. Homemade Electrically Isolated Silver (EIS)-which, as a
combination of colloidal and ionic particles, is more commonly known as
Colloidal Silver (CS)-is totally sufficient. The researchers are probably
fiddling with the recipe because plain old CS can't be patented.
