If I could, I would happily send you the surplus inches of rain
hitting NY. It just doesn't seem fair, these extremes we're having.
A friend of mine in Ben Wheeler says that lots of trees are dying. So
very sad, and long-term dangerous. sigh.

Thanks for your concern. Am glad we here in central Texas are all
safe. I am pretty far from all fires. It is cloudy but the clouds
are whitish/grayish. Sun is full blast. Hot again. Renee is right,
God please send lots of rain here. The grass in our area is like
dried hay due to water restrictions in watering the lawn. The heat is
different, i water the plants soaking wet early morning and by noon
time the plants are drooping and withered.
