If antibiotics are used under the guidance of an experienced lyme physician, they are actually usually very safe. Not ideal, but true. Though no doc will use more than they think they have to. I use CS and Rx antibiotics. My lyme doctor has slated a 4 antibiotic combo for me in case I keep not responding to less.
