Hi Ya'All; Now for a real life experience. I was the engineering department chief for Western Electric charged with the oversight of the manufacture of electron tubes( radio tubes) and we had to require the ladies to wear finger cots. (that would be the fingers of a rubber glove) when handling the gold plated parts of the electron tubes as the salts of their bodies at "that time" of the month would actually corrode gold and cause the tubes to fail.
So the moral is use a tissue to wipe or move the electrodes. "Ole Bob" -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
