Can someone refresh my memory on this? I've forgotten whether it is the
cathode or the anode that gets dark/black, and whether it is the cathode
or anode that is the one actually "donating" silver into the water?
(For generators without polarity switching, or with polarity switching
turned off). I just want to be sure.
