And it is not just electric meters ... our water meter also transmits ... because we don't have a landline phone they put one in on our water meter ... not sure what the max distance is but i know they send someone in a car to drive the hood each month to collect the info. So ... you might have more than one transmitter in the house. I have orgonite towers all over our house.
