I am also entitled to my own opinion, which is that the preponderance of medical findings can't be tossed out on the basis of some new-age generalities like "the brain and body are one."
Even though I am not a biologist or doctor, I am aware that the blood-brain barrier is a proven phenomenon, not a "notion". The exchange between blood and brain is restricted, principally to high molecular weight substances.
