The USA just lost a satellite on Mars because of a confusion between
metric and standard measurements. I believe the 150 degrees was meant to
be Fahrenheit where water boils at 212 degrees.

Let's see. Boiling point of water is about 100 degrees. So if you put a 
plastic container filled with water in an 150 degree oven for 24 hours, 
there'd be no water left. The contaminants would be swooshing around the 
oven. Worse if the container was capped. There'd be an explosion.
