It was later that Brooks found the better way was to mix 1 tspn of ASCORBIC ACID with 2 tspns of BICARBONATE OF SODA in 1/2 cup of distilled water to make SODIUM ASCORBATE.This was then mixed in with the 3 tablespoons of dissolved Lecithin in 1 cup of distilled water.The total was 12 ounces which was the right quantity for the cleaner,[which I got from Harbour freight] I use this method; my jewellery cleaner goes for three minutes then shuts off ,so I run it for another 3 minute cycle,total 6 minutes.When it is running I stir it gently with a plastic soda straw.Store in ’fridge in glass bottle.
