My husband's lead man at work has a bad MRSA infection under his right
pectoral, (over his liver). It's the size of a quarter, it's deep and
oozing a little. He had one last summer on his back and it was successfully
treated by conventional drugs. His heart doctor diagnosed this current
infection and referred him to an infectious disease doc, but he can't see
that doc for two weeks! Oy vey! I offered to make him some oral and
topical CS/EIS a couple of days ago and today he said yes he would try
anything as it is getting worse and he is scared. I would appreciate any
advice you all could give me as far as presenting the CS to him and how he
might self administer it.

On another note my father who is in his 80's and a diabetic had one foot
turn red, swollen and painful after he clipped a toenail too short (and
didn't tell my mom until the pain got too bad). I made him some topical CS
with about 15% DMSO and 5% glycerin and had my mom put it on his foot four
times a day, keeping a gauze pad soaked in the CS on the toe in between full
foot applications. By the second application both the pain and redness was
noticably down. My mom was amazed but so was the doc the next day when they
told her about it, of course my mom couldn't remember what I had given them
to put on the foot! Anyway, I thought I would share that story.
