The manufacturer who, having committed hours of labor and thousands of dollars to development, equipment, and marketing, offers an alternative health product he believes in, at a price that is in the lowest tier in the marketplace. The physician who, having spent years and thousands of dollars in training, and facing dire threats to his livelihood and his family's security, recommends an alternative health option that he believes in to a patient that all his professional skill cannot save. The family member who, facing a terrifying threat to the health or survival of a loved one, abandons years of faith in "the system" and tentatively, but urgently probes the realm of alternative health, looking for certainty in their choice of option. The bureaucrat who, seeing the fraudulent claims being made by so many, and knowing his superiors are under pressure from powerful industries to squash their competitors, persists in writing rules that allow the survival of such health alternatives. Please don't allow the nobility of your efforts and the evil of your adversaries to blind you to the heroism of others. Peace.
