I discovered I was chronically dehydrated 4 years
ago at age 72) and decided to follow the rule:
Halve your weight;
Divide by eight;
Drink those glasses
and meditate.
At 168 pounds I take basic supplements and
vitamins, low on sugar and milk products, no beef,
high on fish, no alcohol for 42 years,
and drink 10 8-oz glasses of water per day -- half
before noon.
In the past 4 years, blood pressure down, eyesight
improved, memory better, sleeping better, only
minor aches and pains,
attitude more positive, lost over 50 pounds (not
dieting) .
I sat with 3 other 76 year old women at my kitchen
table just this morning.
2 had cancer operations, one with eyesight
difficulties, a rod in the brain for severe
tremors, all with aches and pains, hobbling along.
None really overweight. I've known them for 32 to
76 years.
Oh yeah -- and I make my own CS, use when
necessary (not often)
Why the difference?

I emailed the web site and have not heard back; I
don't really expect to.

But Dr. Shallenberger's book "Bursting with
Energy" is on Amazon, and Amazon allows a preview
of the book.

The chapter on water indicates your should drink a
quarter to a half ounce of water for each pound of
body weight. (eg. a 200lb person would consume
50-100 ounces per day)

This sounds much more reasonable than 3-6 gallons
per day!

Don't know but that amount seems awfully high.
An american quart is about a litre so 12 litres
would be way too much in my book . Round about 2
litres on average would be a good
ballpark. Errm maybe it should be 2 quarts , not
12 ??

  Why not ask them ?
