If you look into LDN, you'l find that it's compounded from Naltrexone (a drug
that counteracts addiction), to a much lower dose. LDN can get expensive can
add up financially, but if you go to the off-shore drug, site,
alldaychemist.com, you can get the generic Naltima. It's very inexpensive, but
being off-shore, the shipping is higher and a little slower. That said, it's a
reputable company, many of us have used. Naltrexone must be compounded to a
lower dose which adds to expense, but rather than take it to a compounding
pharmacist,(who will sometimes introduce undesirable fillers) simply drop one
tablet to dissolve into 50ml of distilled water in a dropper bottle. Then each
drop will be a 1ml. amount of low-dose naltrexone. Most people start with 1
drop and work up slowly to 4.5.
I know about this because I was told LDN was helpful for psoriatic arthritis
and other inflammatory diseases. Unfortunately for me, perhaps because of the
complexities of Lyme disease, it didn't work for me, but I remember Crohn's was
one of the conditions it's good for. Hope this helps.

Be well,
Léna
