I'm no chemist either, but the short answer is..........EVERY manufacturer 
reckons they make the best stuff!
Soooooooo, someone is BS'ting, they can't ALL make the best stuff, that means 
the best marketer attracts the most punters.
It comes down to which of the two products one prefers, using whatever criteria 
one chooses, the marketer and the so called 'colloidal?' product, or the quiet 
achievers predominantly ionic product as produced in the home.
I know which I prefer, and trust, and it doesn't involve any marketing <g>.

    Does anyone know anything about PurestColloids dot com? They
      insist theirs is the best colloidal silver because it's a true
      colloid instead if ionic - or dissolved - silver like you can make
      at home. There are so many differing "explanations" out there, and
