I also use kefir grains to ferment in goat milk. The yahoo group is fantastic. The grains looklike minature cauliflowers. Many that are part of the Weston A Price groups have kefir and kombucha. They usually are willing to share but the grains can be bought. I had problems with bought grains (dehydrated) getting them to grow. Kefir multiply as they mature and then you can divide and share. My husband likeskefir smoothies with fruit added. Check out http://users.sa.chariot.net.au/~dna/kefirpage.html Good luck. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Kefir_making/ This is your best source of info and of the grains do not be fooled by the folks who try to sell you the powder that you have to keep on buying. Kefir grains GROW so you will never run out and have plenty to share over time.zoe From: Kathy Tankersley <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, 5 August 2012, 16:06 Subject: CS>kefir Hi, anoe know anything about kefir?
