N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine, should be available in health food store, but you may want to call first. It is an amino acid and antioxident. I have no idea why it seems to clear bronchitis so well, but my son and I both find it the best thing we have ever used. Take 400 mg capsule on an empty stomach if possible. Marshall
