Hi Dee,
if you are using it for a human tehn just put a few drops into  a
small glass of someting like pear or apricot juice and mix it up or
not as you choose. Knock it down quickly and you will find it SOoo
much easier to take the oregano oil.
Yes, it burns and is quite unpleasant.
If it is for an animal then try putting it onto the outside of the
ears or paw pads.
Yes,  they will lick but only for a short while.
 It will be absorbed into the skin.
Much easier than drinking it down.
DO NOT try it in a glass of water.
Terrible way to take it.
Juice is so much easier.
