Hi Susie,

I would start off the CS to reilly the cat by putting a bowl of it next to the 
plain water bowl so 
that he has a choice. They seem to like to have both sometimes. When I had cats 
I would 
change and clean the bowl(s) once a day.  

The main 'dosing' was via the food. I would add some CS directly to whatever 
solids they got 
and they'd usually polish that.
