Oh, well done Melly, So glad the nasal wash worked.
When I did that, I made myself a litre and carried on flushing, until it was done. The most effective was lying on my back on chairs next to the bath with my head turned almost upside down; years of mouldy dust came out from up there. Then I did the same the next few days until there was no more to come out and not more drainage. It is drama so its not someting I want to do every day. Once a month should be a date for me. I'm not at all familiar with chaparal nor with wasabi. So, like Neville, I would not stick that up my nose :-) I would need more benefits and details before I adventured there. Chaparral is a biome, but it could also be larrea tridentata , creosote bush ? OK, see: http://www.henriettesherbal.com/archives/best/1994/larrea.html ; still wouldn't stick it up anywhere. Wasabi is more like it if it were the real genuine thing. After a little search that is not likely ; more likely to be mustard, starch and green dye. Umm, I'll stick with a little salt, for electrolyte balance , to stop the sting and preserve the tissues, and to cut through mucus . Maybe add bicarb to cut through fats and oils, and CS to leave some silver bombs around to slow release.
