Hi Dee, My concern about aloe is that it is an allergen for many... and personally, I cannot use glycerin either. PT

Glycerin seems to evince equally beneficial, topical effects on the skin surfaces......as does Aloe Vera. Not a major thing, but Aloe liquid is considerably less costly than is glycerin and it adds an anti-irritant component not found in glycerin.
