Tea tree oil works well for surface things but for a fungus that is deeply
inbedded in the toe nail it does little.  I have not tried it in combo with
DMSO or the other options mentioned like the DMSO/sodium bicarb/EIS combo.
I did sporanox ... oh 15 plus years ago I think it was ... and that mostly
knocked out the one I had in my big toe nail.  That nail still isn't
"right" but the doctor just said it was a sign of me getting older and not
an indication there was still a fungus in the nail.  Having been a
competitive swimmer for many many years it is amazing I didn't end up with
more of that sort of thing.  The sporanox worked like a charm but that said
the potential side effects are a bit daunting and I am not sure I would use
it today if given the option.
