urea formaldehyde resin has been a scourge in my life. But for nails,
I think one could use a lacquer from art supplies to embed the anti
fungal herbs and silver for sustained release. There are water based
varnishes etc.

In the past I bought it in liquid form in a bottle from the local
pharmacy. Plus, I've actually seen it in ingredient lists on nail
enamel.
