RadioShack has heat shrink tubing that might work with a hair dryer to fasten 2
caps back-to-back.
 If you're capable, silver solder might be feasable.
Epoxy
Crazy glue
Pop Rivet?
Duct Tape?
Make a hollow rivet out of metal tubing and peen into place?
Just some brainstorming....
