Traditionally, aspirin is used as a blood thinner. Many people take 1 baby aspirin a day for that purpose. One could take more to thin the blood more.
Natto enzyme, available for a fairly cheap price at places like Swanson's Vitamins, will clear out fibrin from the blood. One dose will last about 10-12 hours so one may want to take 2 a day, one in the am and one in the pm. You could discuss this all with the doctor who should be willing to advise if one cannot afford the blood thinners.
