My dentist said one patient who had fillings removed had her lichen planus go away. I have two more small fillings, but I worry about the anesthetic injections (possible long term side effects) and also having to drill into teeth (which could take even more away and weaken them further?) Having the large one removed over a year ago (and now even the entire tooth) has done nothing to improve my aches and pains.
